PLT4M provides students the opportunity to explore a variety of workouts on multiple levels. The programs are sequential and easy to follow.Plan Program ImplementationHow do we implement the PLT4M program into our current curriculum? I was looking for new activities to incorporate into our entry-level Healthy Lifestyle physical education class. The PLT4M program is a perfect addition to our current class curriculum that includes fundamental fitness movements, Tabata workouts, circuit training, and yoga. PLT4M also provides the students with an off-campus teaching and training tool to supplement their classroom workouts.Execute the ProcessThen it was time to integrate PLT4M programming into our current curriculum. My program of choice was FIT 101: Intro to Fitness. FIT101 is divided into five sections that each include three lessons supplemented with recovery and mobility activities. This program is perfect for entry-level PE classes that focus on fitness. In each lesson, students are instructed on basic fundamental movements that are utilized in The Finisher – the final workout in the lesson. Students were motivated to learn new fitness movements and then complete the challenges in The Finisher.Want to see how your school can partner with PLT4M for a comprehensive Physical Education curriculum?Request A Demo Evaluate the ProcessThe versatile PLT4M program has given my students the motivation they need to pursue their personal fitness goals. It is an excellent tool for student’s off-campus workouts; the scheduling feature in the programs allows students to follow a progressive fitness program that I have assigned. The attendance feature provides an accountability piece for student participation. Students have the opportunity to explore various types of workouts, and multiple levels of fitness PLT4M gives students access to exceptional workout plans and video resources to instruct them on proper form. PLT4M programs are self-paced and allow for student success across our Physical Education Curriculum. Implementing PLT4M in our entry-level Healthy Lifestyle class has put a research-based program in our student’s hands. They have a personal trainer that they can utilize to enhance their fitness development.Implementing the PLT4M program into my entry-level physical education classes has inspired me to pursue further PLT4M programs in additional PE classes in our Physical Education Department.
